Experience the Old West with its cattle drives, saloons, and music in Front Street – Ogallala.

“Get along, little doggies,” could be heard on the range and in the streets as cowboys drove cattle to the railroad for transport. This rally cry sounded on the streets of the Cowboy Capital in Ogallala, NE, from 1875 to 1885. Ogallala was the end of the line for the cattle as they’d be loaded onto trains at the Union Pacific Railroad’s Spotted Tail Agency for shipment to Chicago.

Front Street – Ogallala recreates the good old days. Front Street is a replica of an Old West town on Highway 30 just northeast of the I-80 interchange. This venue offers everything you need to enjoy a Wild West experience, starting with the Front Street Steakhouse with a bar and our famous Nebraska beef.
